Finally had a break in the weather and got out Nite Wreckin' Saturday night. It was a great night.
Capt Mike ran the boat but I joined him to check things out and do a little fishing with my wife as well. Journalists Nick Honachesky and Chris Lido joined us as well.
We caught a good mix of ling and sea bass. Occasionally the fishing would slow-up and Capt Mike would shift the boat and the bites would quickly start up again.
We did see some squid, if anyone is interested in catching those, and a couple blues skirting outside the night lights.
We had replaced all our underwater lights with brand new LEDs (Special thanks to Greg Tonkavitch). The lights are super bright and it's very exciting to watch the sea creatures get drawn into them. We also replaced our stereo system and got to listen to 70's on 7.
We are running these trips every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through the summer, 7:30 till 12:30 (Except Saturday the 19th, which is booked)
The Gambler is running at less than 1/2 capacity through the 2021 season for your comfort and safety! If you are in the area and decide last minute to join us, it is always worth stopping by to see if we have room to accommodate you
