6/5....hit it late day for a few hours before sundown on the flats around both sides of Earle. Tough go with few bites but great conditions. Few shorts was it before sundown.
6/6....back at it early East side of SHB. Picked and picked from Officers Row down to Skelton Hill. Again all shorties and a couple of cocktail blues in the mix. Took a ride west and hit the Keansburg Canyon (TY -GD..:D) and had our best pick of the day coming up on the end of the outgoing.
Only managed a lone 19” keeper but the 4 of easily decked 50+. Nice action on 16-17.99999” fish.
Thru the kitchen sink out there. Every gulp imaginable, squid, spearing, smelt, killies. My kid went old school and had the hot hand with a pink spin n’ glo and ham sandwich (blast front the past)!!!!
18 FOW was sweet spot. Water ranged 67-71 when sun got hi. Bunker pods isolated to just around bug light.
FWIW......the whole “deadly force can and will be used” message on the PA from Earle was a little over the top....:p
