Awesome day yesterday. Headed out alone to some Sea Bass marks I have with limited life on all. Picked a ling and a couple keepers...but nothing to write home about whether on jig or bait. Did some searching on the FG grounds and found a small rise....jigged on it and picked one. Came back up to drift again and the biscuits rose up to the occasion! Set up on them with the spot-lock and lights out...drop and reel fishing. Caught my limit by around 1 and headed back into the bay for some fluking. Not much action there at the hook and south wind was kicking up.
Dropped in for some striped bass trolling to see them blowing up in front of me. Cleared the mojos and game on with the popper. Fish to 40+ inches on the popping rod. That was awesome fun....have never done that before yesterday. Got on ch68 and shared the wealth....yep, american flag wrapped boat...just east of Earle. Stuck at that for over an hour until my shoulder was tired enough.

Fun day...8 hours on the water and a load of fish to show for it. Had to clean up and fillet alone too. Hahahah....playing hooky from work is supposed to be relaxing.

Dont forget: Sandy Hook Bay Anglers...39th Annual Fluke tourney next month!

Gr8 report!!! With awesome multi species results, though it sounds as if da stripaz were the icing on the cake....I always loved having gr8 results when fishing alone....its special in a diff way, and you reflect on nature a little differently!!! Gr8 job!!
