Friday got off early and hit the river, started raining on the way there.
First fish is on the ned rig, yet I was using it like a swimbait in a fast run, lol. Real nice smb, barely 17 inches but somehow chunkiest one Ive caught in a while.

Had 5 other hits/lost fish after that. Kept raining and called it a day looking forward to high water conditions next three days- but nope nothing. Had to resort to some ponds for an actual bite :D Wonder if the intense drop in temps shut them down. Oh well at least we got rain :)

Very nice! I've been doing well with SM's in the river and lost a HUGE pike!

Nice Smallies my BROSKI! Keep at it. Hopefully the river doesn’t drop back to the level it was before the rain. The R looked like a creek. Blahhhhh!!!!:D
