WE CAUGHT SOME STRIPERS TODAY! We put a big focus on STRIPED BASS and we caught some keepers and some shorts. Some of the shorts would have been bonus fish if the bonus program was open so we would have had even more in the boat but that doesn’t open until May 15th.
It was all bait today and with the bait, the new rules say we have to use the circle hook and I think we lost a lot of fish because people weren’t used to using circle hooks. It is not an offset circle it is an inline circle hook.
So, we did catch some STRIPERS and we will be back at it tomorrow. I think tomorrow we have even more of the outgoing tide based on the tide chart so I think we will have a longer bite than we had today.
Come on down and let’s see if we can get some more STRIPERS going!
