Headed out after work yesterday for an evening trip to get in on the Bluefish action. What an evening! I went 6 for 7 on Bluefish, the biggest being my new personal best at 28 inches and 8 pounds, not the biggest I saw caught, but Im damn proud of it. Kept my limit of 3 for some fish tacos, fish cakes and bluefish dip. All fish were caught on a bone colored SP Minnow and an
Ava 17 with a red tube. Had a great time with these awesome fighting fish!!

Are the blues showing up at a certain time of day - or is it more related to a point in certain tides?

Ive been hearing the outgoing tide has been better. I got there a little after peak of low tide and everyone was catching
