View Full Version : Amazing Striper Bite!!

My daughter and I headed out twice over the last 3 days and experienced amazing Striper fishing. My daughter caught a nice striper and lost another big one right at the dock when he spit the hook. The second day, Saturday, was epic. But not at first. I sat for 5 hours without one bite, as soon as the clock hit 6pm, it turned on. 4 fish in 30 minutes, including a 29 inch and a 28 inch keeper that were both released. The bite continued into dark and ended up with 8 fish total, all over 20 inches and all on bloodworms.

Great post and great vid. too. Good to see you are out with your daughter spending quality time together. That's about the same age I introduced my son to fishing...and he's been hooked ever since. He has turned out to be a very good Fluke bucktailer in the process with lightning quick reflexes.

You know you've done your job when she starts to outfish you :)....like my son does to me when we fish for the flatties. Good for you.

That's awesome! We have a blast together whether we catch or not! And she always outfishes me, lol
