Gambler was out yesterday on our long range blackfish trip to the South.
We didn’t catch limits or double digit-lbers --but we did catch a few taug on each of the 3 wrecks we fished. We did have bites all day, just not a lot of big ones …yet.
Tough conditions, as we had a big swell from the Southeast, strong current running down the beach and a stiff breeze with whitecaps from the West. But our fishermen (and gal) made the best of it and were a lot of fun to hang with.
Looks like I am cancelling our cod trip for tomorrow, sadly. Poor weather.
Only a few more marathon taug trips left. As of the moment, we have 15 spots left for this Weds trip.
Sign up if you can.
For your safety and comfort –we are only taking 25 passengers max on these Southern Taug trips.
Hope to see you aboard
