Like I have been saying all along, we need some Nasty weather to get the ball rolling...Today was the day and I finally get to post a Fishing in the snot report!!
Very nasty but fish-able for those who showed. Had life all day with Short, Medium & Large Stripers. The Blues were hungry also and just gorged with Sand eels!
Henry lead the way with 20 Bass all on Jigs....his choice today was a 4oz Crippled Hearing. Jigs with tails also did well. Pool fish just made 38 inches.
Medium to Heavy action rods, spinning gear if you have it, Just NO NOODLE RODS PLEASE!!! I know I sound like a broken record but, you have to work for these fish...you have to turn those handles to make the jigs move, if you are catching sharks, then you are not listening to Me or the crew every time we stop on the fish.
This is the bite we have been waiting for and it's usually a short window of opportunity, Don't miss out on the Fall run!!
