Ever notice how the fishing is often slow on Bluebird days?? Well, yesterday was one of those days, it was actually too nice!

Me, Joey and Sven got a later then usual start and left the dock at 9 ish in T shirts.. Started off looking for some blackfish on one of our favorite snags. Had some life early on but nothing to write home about. Lots of shorts and handful of keepers but it was a tough bite since they wouldn’t commit to the bait. Rigs, jigs green and white crabs it didn’t matter... Made a few adjustments to fish shallower and deeper still nothing... Waited for the change of tide hoping that would switch things up, had to reposition again but still no love.

Left the spot early since we wanted some daylight to scout for some Stripers on the ride towards home. Saw some scattered bird play here and there but nothing great and what little we did see was short lived. Casted and jigged Savages, Diamond jigs and Crocks and set up on some deep marks to no avail.

Oh well.... Thats fishing but still great to spend a November day on the water in t shirts and I’ll bet you a buck they chew their heads off today while I’m tied to my desk :D

That and Saturday were beautiful days on water. Saturday a little better.

Sunday I must have trolled 4 hours west bank - Romer's- Candle Sticks- SP buoy not one fish. A single bump.

BUT... still better than work. Oh yea that's right--- it was work. :)
