we fished friday saturday and sunday.leaving the dock at 6:00am each day and
having out 6 man limit{30} by 9am.capt was great as we got the play C&R till it was time to go in.was just a great weekend to be togging up north.jigs seemed to be the ticket.the bi catch was ok also with sea bass porgy's weakfish & cod.

Six of us fished RI 3 weeks ago, on a Tuesday / Weds.
Not as good as you,left at 0600 we didn't get our limit the first day until 0930,
and second day by noon. C & R thereafter.
One of our group had a 12.5 and an 11.5 one of which lived to fight again. Most were on jigs up to 1.5 oz. Several other 8 & 9 lb tog.
I am still practicing at it. My biggest both days were 6 lbs.
Did you find good structure but bottom not as sticky as North Jersey ?
We lost fewer jigs.
I will definitely try there again next April.

Unfortunately, I had a routine physical scheduled upon return.
The staff asked if I was out of state, and I answered honestly.
Had to quarantine for 14 days till 11/4, and luckily, no symptoms of corona.

completely different than Jersey.they have miles of great natural bottom,way way less pressure and much more fish.
