Striper report Thursday 11/5 , we had another great day today we managed a full boat limit of bass that just fell short of being too big , we released about 15 fish that were over the limit, most of them over 30 pounds , the biggest about 45 pounds. This is been some season, to have the problem of Not being able to find fish small enough to keep bogles my Imagination . These fish are from one year class of fish, and that must’ve been some fish spawn, to have had all of these big fish survive. When we get fish that size , and we know there is no way to keep them we work very fast to get the hook out, a picture, And put the fish back in the water. I must say we’ve been very successful , all the fish were released and swam Away very fast , indicating that they were still in very good shape. These fish are not the best to eat, but they are big, beautiful , and powerful, And should be put back unscathed if at all possible. Thank God for the cell phone you are able to take beautiful pictures, that’s your trophy. Anyway we are lucky to have such a run of bass . Hopefully we will be fishing for them until the blackfish season opens see our Open Boat page here, and follow us on Facebook for pictures and availability stay healthy thanks RAY
