We got out today to try at some of the big stripers. With the bad wind conditions we quickly made the decision to do some Inshore toggin. Conditions certainly sucked but we made the best of it. Had our boat limit of 1 each upto about 5 lbs.not a bad day but windy. I had one hiccup, thank God for sharp hooks!

Oh F**C. That sucks.
Keep an eye out for infection. Fish handlers disease is no joke. I’ve had it.

If you're fishing for tog, you should use crabs as bait, not hands.

Were you able to cut that hook yourself & pull it out? Or did u make a trip to the emergency room to have them cut it out & maybe give you a tetanus shot?

I had to poke it through the other side, then cut the snell off and feed it through. No ER and had tetanus shot couple of years ago. Fish were just starting too bite so we finished it the day.
PS ,The caring crew I was with couldn't get their phones out quick enough. And all we had was hand sanitizer to clean it with, that hurt more than the hook!
