Plenty of current once again this morning, if your not holding, your not catching. Had a nice bite all day but it got better in the afternoon after the change of tide. Drop & reel fishing to end the day.

Top catch of the day goes to Anthony Rullo who at the best part of the bite, when the big ones were hungry, managed to put a treble hook jig through his ear!! I will spare him the video! LOL

Very disappointed in my one group of Rod Rentals today as Joe & Rob worked it hard for you, cleaned your fish and everyone left without taking care of them.....Not cool guys.

Same thing happens on some of our tuna trips. Guys catch fish with the mates doing most of the work to get the fish to the boat for them and they get a 10 dollar bill at the end of the trip . Not fair to the mates. Man up or stay home !!!

if the captain and the patrons all agree the mates should be paid more, why isn't that just built into the fare so that nobody can be a deadbeat and screw the mates over?

whenever i go on a trip not on my boat, i tip the same as whoever set the trip up and invited me because i don't want to be a deadbeat either... but tipping really just sucks for everyone on both sides.

Good point. Personally I would rather do that, so mates never get screwed over.

It almost never happens when it does it sucks. Fortunately, we have 90% Regulars on the boat who always take care of the guys. They sucked it up and sadly took one for the team this time....
