Is this a good place to fish. Do fish come in the canals. What types of fish go through these canals?

Lol jesus man. Do some research... use the NJfishing search function or google it. People offered you some insight. Maybe look at a map? Sometimes ya gotta figure some stuff out on your own...

Lousy representation of the kind of coaching this board is about. My recommendation to both of you guys is to get laid. It also seems possible that one of you has liver damage impacting your demeanor. You can guess which one (kidding).
For D2:
There's a fire station on the east end of the Rt 88 bridge, with parking and access to the canal path. Walk north from there, and you'll see folks. Seems to always be a few people fishing the northern edge of the canal (chat them up). Some spots hold fish all along the canal (I don't know the spots). Be ready for a SERIOUS current and in my experience, a lot of snags, and tide matters. Lots of guys on this board know more than me.

Not really. I've been here a long time. I've helped many. I've also been helped by many. Also made some of my closest fishing buddies off this site. I attend the xmas parties when I can. I support the sponsors.
I'm also a firm believer in not handing everything over on a silver platter to a poster who's first post and follow ups express minimal effort in doing ones own research. If he can post here he can also manage a google search and the board's search function.
Not sure what this has to do with getting laid but you're welcome to smell my beard and let me know how long it has or hasn't been! Hahahaha...

Fair enough:). Maybe I need to get laid (looks left, across the sectional couch, sips cocktail, considers a plan as old as the tide....).
As a guy who walks a tightrope of asking too many questions of my fishing mentors, I might be sensitive (but I love coaching folks with what I've learned).
Christmas party? Near the Manasquan inlet, Raritan, or IBSP (can't tell where the center of gravity of this crowd might be)?

Always willing to help out a fellow Angler. I responded to several questions in good faith. But when he said he didn't know how to get down there I felt like he was trolling me. If that's not so I apologize and I sincerely hope he gets in there and gets some fish.

I agree people want to be bottled fed these days. How hard is it to drive around and find some access. That's how I learned!!
