The weigh station is scheduled to be at Leonardo State Marina. This may change to Atlantic Highlands Municipal.

Great that it's on Black Friday and you have Sat and Sunday for rain dates if you need them.

Lots of people have to work Black Friday , May limit amount of available anglers .
Guys taking off to fish , and it gets pushed to the available weekend will get bad taste for sure

So you think guys will take a day off work , lose a days pay to fish a tournament that gets half as many boats as it could on a Saturday ? That winning doesn’t even cover the expenses .

Yea that makes sense , maybe it’s you that should look at the whole picture

The date for a Tog Tournament is never easy to decide. Weather is always tuff that time of year. Go with what you got & hope for the best.

I'm far from a commercial fisherman...never consider making money when I rip work to go fishing...heck, I've never come close to breaking even...

The weigh station in the Raritan has been changed to The Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina. Due to "Covid", the Leonardo State Marina was unable to allow a permit!
Thanks.
Hope to see everyone!

Not my numbers below and the 34% who's employers don't give them off usually take it off to make it 4 days off in a row...

The top five 2014 holidays that most organizations will observe are:

Christmas Day (95 percent of employers will observe)
Thanksgiving Day (tied with New Year’s Day at 94 percent)
Labor Day (tied with Independence Day at 93 percent)
Memorial Day (92 percent)
Day after Thanksgiving (66 percent)

IMHO and I have some 12 years experience in running trips you can never please everyone. Its up to whom is running the tournament / trip and what makes the most sense to THEM. Its your choice to go or not go as there is never an easy date or a predictable date. The fact they have some weather dates in the mix helps some if not all. Its also funny how so many want a weekend but then post reports during the week!
If you want to go you will and if you cant no big deal but when commenting on these things give a little slack to the organizer as they are hit with more opinions than they need and really do their best to do the impossible trying to please the masses.
We are IN.
