Got out yesterday with a charter. Fluke are there and hope it holds up for the rest of the year. Been doing well both charter and private boat. Best was we were basically alone all day
Again the fluke did not disappoint. Had to bounce around in deeper water than recent but each spot held life / some more than others. Gulp color and meat choice didnt seem to matter as much today, albiet some caught better than others there was no one thing that you could put your finger on that would make you change up. End of the day we had our full boat limit of 36 K to 7lbs and just a great day to be a fluke fishermen or just a great day to be alive and on the water, HH was a tie between Mike and Keith @ 7 ORL. I had the curse of the yo dollar first keeper and ended up with 4. Many shorts in the mix plus robins, but not much "other" trash.
One more on the schedule next week but we may mix it up if the exotics are still around,
