ROYAL MISS BELMAR
This morning, it started off with a slow pick. As the day went on, the wind picked up and we got a nice breeze and started catching fish much better. There were limits of fluke all around the boat, with a lot of throw backs, and almost everyone had their limit of sea bass, also with a lot of throw backs. Our pool winner today was Pat Reilly from Avon, NJ. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful days on the ocean so far this summer. We also saw hundreds of bottle nosed dolphins for over 3 miles from just outside of our inlet to half way to the fishing grounds!
MISS BELMAR PRINCESS
Yesterday afternoon, we had a fantastic night of angling. There was plenty of action with fluke, along with some nice keepers onboard! There were also plenty of jumbo sea bass and some mackerel in the mix. Everyone had a great time and went home with fillets.
This morning, we had good blue fishing but you had to work for them. We read fish, however, they did not bite as good as they have been. If you worked hard and turned the handle you had action all day. There were also some bonito and Spanish mackerel in the mix.
