FISHERMEN/Mondays Fishing Report
After yesterdays butt kicking, the Ocean was much nicer today with a slight roll.
Had a West wind on the way out and figured with the out-going it would be game on. Started in the same area were we caught yesterday, lost the breeze, had No current, no drift and never had a bite!!!
Worked a couple snags and finally found one that held some fish, even without the float the guys worked it hard, we scraped it hard till we moped it up.
Couple guys ended up with their three and several guys had their two by days end but it was in no-way easy!!! The keepers once again were just 18 inch keepers with the exception of the pool fish that made 4 pounds.
Breeze finally came up at 1:30 so we hung in there hoping for a last ditch bite. Had action when we started to move, went back to make another drift and that was it!!!
Tied to the dock tomorrow, will post about Wednesdays trip tomorrow after we see what happens with this Storm.
