MISS BELMAR PRINCESS
Yesterday afternoon, we had a humpback whale swim along side of us for about 45 minutes! We all were in awe as he made some deep dives. Afterwards, we continued to the sea bass grounds where we slowly picked away at keeper sea bass and ling. We also caught a few short fluke, along with some sea robins. There has been so much life in the bottom that hopefully the sea bass bite turns back on sometime soon. Our pool winner was Alex Chiu from Sayreville, NJ.
This morning, we had a great day angling on-board the Miss Belmar. We fished South East of Shark River Inlet with great results! There were plenty of blues and mackerel on the lumps that we fished on. There were also sand eels paved along the bottom which fish were feeding off of. We had plenty of limits with blues today and it was a great day. Our pool winner George Schwartz from Williamsport, PA.

Today, we fished North East of Shark River Inlet on the rocks, mussel beds and rubble. In the early morning, we picked away at both keeper, and short fluke, until we lost the drift. Then it slowed way down so we moved around in some other spots and picked a few here and there. We had a handful of some very nice sea bass and a couple of ling. Some had good action and some didn’t. Overall it was a nice day.
