Yesterday afternoon, we had a slow pick on most drifts. Majority of the fluke were shorts and the sea bass that hit the deck were mostly keepers. We also had a nice whale show at the beginning of our trip! Our pool winner was Nicole Fallon from Middlesex, NJ.
This morning, we picked away at 3 lb blues. We had some drifts that were better than others and we were jigging away with plain ava 27’s working the best. We also had a spanish mackerel and chubb mackerel in the mix. There were also some keeper sea bass, and keeper fluke, along with some shorts. We had a nice variety on-board today.
