Ran off to where we have been fishing the past couple of days, never expected the ocean to be so nasty!!!
Had a hard current running sideways against the wind, felt like Victory at Sea. Got the Hell out of there fast. Many, many years ago I would have been flustered by the change in the game plan but we knew what we had to do.
Headed to calmer waters and found some very nice Fluke once again. John Froelich lead the way with several nice keepers. Steve Struck took pool fish honors with a very nice 5.11 pound beauty along with his limit and a couple nice Sea Bass.
Lou, who was out on Monday and had his limit with 30 shorts did it again today with a very nice rack. My latest student Chaz, gets an A+ for listening to everything I taught him on Monday and making his first rack picture today with 3 beauties. Thursday John, Steve "Chaos", Randy and a couple others all had two nice fish along with Sea Bass by days end.
The Rain that wasn't supposed to happen till 3pm came early and lasted a while but everyone hung in there and Never left the rail!
Another tough start but very good finish to end the day! Back at it tomorrow....
