Super Tuna Trip Monday!
Our first tuna trip of the season was very successful!
We were only fishing for 10 minutes when the first tuna was hooked.
Shortly after a big school swarmed under the boat and were biting like crazy.
The jig bite was the best but we also caught a number of fish on bait.
We had our limit of "under" blue fin in no time at all and we were releasing
fish for 2 hours before the bite slowed down.
Many anglers caught and released four or five tuna each.
Louie from Brooklyn caught five tuna, Captain Ron from
Piscataway New Jersey caught five tuna.
There were whales spread for miles and dolphin chasing
giant schools of sandeels, that the tuna were feeding on.
It looks good for next week's tuna trips.
There are several areas holding tuna within easy reach of the Jamaica
