IT WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE TUNA FISHING! As soon as the sun came up completely over the horizon, the fish started to bite and 2 hours later we had over 250 fish.
We limited the boat out on BLUEFINS and had a nice mix of YELLOWFIN with some limits. They were not big but in the 30 to 35 lb. range.
We released about 70 fish and lost about 100 and some people hooked 10 to 15 fish. We would also have a dozen TUNA fish on at a time.
Everything was on jigs.
There were 1 to 2 dozen whales close enough to get sprayed by their whale breath and hundreds of dolphins along with a lot of bait out there.
