I have to give everyone aboard today two thumbs up! Lack of a drift and no breeze yet everyone still managed to get it done!!
First two drifts had Doug (our resent retired) Pilot boat Captain, leading the way with his three nice fluke in the cooler. Had to work the bottom hard scraping away most of the day. Some beauty Sea Bass with John the sea bass king landing a couple monsters.
Rob fishing the pulpit, Uncle Jimmy from Staten Island, Richie, Doug and Big Tom all had their 3 and them some by days end. Current came through late along with the breeze and we did have another good shot of fish. Pam Cosgrove & Morris Duckett bailed out the day with a couple nice fish at the end. Several fish in the 3 pound range. Doug also had today's pool fish.
Very nice bite for such crappy conditions...don't wait till it's over, we have been on the meat for 5 days now.
Back at it tomorrow...Don't forget the ICE!!!
