Yesterday morning, blue fishing was slow. We picked at them with some mackerel mixed in. We had decent sea bass fishing later in the day, with many limits, along with some nice size ling mixed in. Our pool winner was Andrew Dzikowski from Morristown, NJ.
Yesterday afternoon, we had decent fishing. The first few drifts were excellent but as the night went on the current picked up and the fishing turned in to just a pick. We still managed close to a full boat limit of sea bass. We also caught some ling, blues and short fluke. Everyone went home happy with a bag of fillets for dinner!
This morning, we picked away on small blues and chubb mackerel with ava 27’s working the best. The last half of the day, we concentrated on sea bass and ling and had plenty of both jumbo sea bass and ling. There was action all day long today and it was a great day despite the intense heat. Our pool winner was Cade Keeton.
