The Gambler was no sail yesterday or today because of the high seas from the left-over offshore storm.
Before that, we were having some decent catches of fluke along with some sea bass. So far this season seems like a better percentage of keeper size fluke that the last few seasons. On some trips, a few of the guys and gals have been catching their limits. Hopefully this weather didn't mess up the bottom too bad --but if it did, things should settle back in soon and maybe even push more fluke and sea bass into our area.
Our Nite Wreckin Trip on Thursday night was good. Steady action on ling. Mixed sizes, small to large. Just a few keeper sea bass and a couple blues that night. Zeke was with us and took 20+ ling and a bluefish.
Looking forward to getting back to it tomorrow.
See you aboard
