I have to give two thumbs up today for all aboard as not ONE customer puked!!
Ocean was very cranky all day as we laid side to the wind & current. Very tough bite, even at the change of tide when it looked like it was going to turn on with a bunch of shorts and a couple keepers coming in, yet when we Tried to repeat the drift, it didn't happen.
Read loads of Sea Bass in the deep but they didn't want to eat either. Today's Rig & Sinker shame loss award goes to Keith, who managed to find every rock out there and still managed a smile at the end of the day!!
Definitely a 2 Alleve day for me as these bones are starting to get a little rusty. Conditions, conditions, conditions...one thing none of us have control over.
PLEASE bring Ice for your fish. Medium action rods also, the light tackle isn't going to get you out of the rocks when you get stuck.
We are fishing the Ocean as much as possible so please be prepared.
NO Flip Flops!!! I know, another rule but for Christ sake, these things are a broken leg on a boat....
Thanks for checking in, back at it tomorrow!
