View Full Version : Back Bay Fluking from Shore - 6/29

Fished the last hour or so of incoming and a few hours of outgoing yesterday from the shore in one of my back bay spots. Caught about 15 fluke, 2 at 18/18.5" and the rest were shorts. Couple were close but no cigar for the limit.
All on 5" swimming mullets on a single jighead in 3-8' of water.

It's glorious when you can fish for 4+ hours, catch a few keepers and not have to contend with others (aside from the ospreys!). Will post a pic when I I take the fish off the ice!

nah keep it, it's about time Jigman made a post in the freshwater section :D lol we miss your walleye reports :cool:
But good work on the fluke!

I havent hit the river in a loooong time. I was on the hybrids for a number of weeks. Now I'm sleepy LOL

:D Nice! Tight lines man. Ill try and hit the river at night soon, i was thinking once the river gets high next.

That's been the issue. No water. Juicy spring. Raisin summer so far.

I'm waiting on my next tuna trip... get em'!
