Caught a jumbo remora drifting for fluke in the Shrewsbury River a few days ago- a first for me in NJ. For a quick min I thought mini cobia....But No- Makes me wonder what it was attached to?- Ate a naked Killy as well as the 2 other keeper fluke- ....Water was very clean/ nice to see....

They aren't really predators, but I guess will eat what they can when they can... Actually they are poop feeders , from the large fish they typically hitch a ride on... My guess is the one you caught came north on a big Ray,,,, bob
