FISHERMEN/Wednesdays Report
Had action right from the start today, plenty of smaller fish with keepers in the mix. Wind blew hard but it was enough to give us a drift.
Today we had John Uhl from Plug Baits aboard passing out some nice samples of his Fluke baits for all to try. Product seemed to work pretty good as Joel & Bob landed over 30 fish with keepers, shorts and a nice pool fish at 4 pounds using a couple different samples. Jeff fishing in the bow used the product tipping his jigs, he did land many shorts just not a keeper.
Weather looks great the next few days, come on down and have some fun. Fishing the Ocean. Please bring a medium action rod that can handle at least 6 to 8 ounces. The noodle rods will get you in trouble and you will need suicide fish to set the hook with too light a rod......you have been warned!!
Don't forget the ice on the way down, Tackle Box, Atlantic Bait & tackle are open early. Sissy's in the Harbor is now open for Breakfast & lunch.
Back at it tomorrow,
Capt. Ron
