Got out late at 930 had to be back by 12. Headed out to the channels since the drift was non existent. Only dogfish and an occasional short. Wind picked up so headed back to middle of the bay 20' deep. Had a great bite for an hour picking up 3 fat fish. New Penny Shrimp once again was the ticket. Water was clean and 70/71 degrees. Fished a 1 1/2 bucktail. Great short trip.

Great report. Was the shrimp on the jig or was it on a high hook? Thanks

50/50 I forgot to add I fish a teaser, 5/0 owner 18" above with shrimp as well. Pops fishes bucktail only and is just as effective. I fish shrimp on both when their on them.

Great report. Was the shrimp on the jig or was it on a high hook? Thanks Good to hear that the water cleared up and the Fluke are stating to bite. Thanks for the info! Tight Lines.

I’ve been a fan of the GULP New Penny shrimp since it first came out. I have also done very well using the new penny/chartreuse GULP mantis shrimp
