Glad those a holes got caught but let’s see what the final penalty will be . Meaning the majority of fisherman follow the rules and guidelines but don’t think there aren’t people out there that are watching this to see what the final fine/ penalty will be. So if it’s just a slap on the wrist that’s not going to deter people from poaching or not following the rules / regulations... we will see

Funny. You think guys like this get licenses?
Wonder what they were going to do with so many fish?

I could not agree with you more. Fine the crap out of them and if they're NJ residents, pull their drivers licenses for a few months. Law and order..that's my motto. Play by the rules and all is good especially with a tightly regulated thing like fishing. See that photo of all those beautiful fish spread out on the parking lot is a DISGRACE. Good job officers!

Their boat and tackle were confiscated. They were fined as well. Wish they had gotten some county guest time.

As FISHGERE said, probably going to sell them to a sushi bar or oriental restaurant.

Names finally released---
Eric Tran and Johnny Nguyen set out in the dark morning hours of March 30 and reeled in 66 striped bass in the waters off Atlantic City.

That's BULLSHIT. That's trivial. The Paper may have chosen to omit poachers' names.
Confiscate the boat they used and the cars/trucks used to arrive and depart to commit the crime ala Guliani style (attempting to buy weed).
There's a GOD DAMN wake up call!
