Got this from my daughters employer Extensis who sells services to large and small businesses. The link below will lead you to the various government resources available to small business owners. It's pretty extensive and gives some fairly detailed info on the programs available to you as you drill down...

https://extensis.azurewebsites.net/COVID19_resource

A few notes here:
- This info may be dated since things are changing by the minute
- I've noticed the SBA sites are all jacked up and you may not be able to submit applications. I would try during off hours.
- Same thing with the NJ State Unemployment site
- I've heard that apparently retail lenders can provide some of the SBA loans and more info as well so you might try your bank and apply there.

I hope you all don't need it but if you do, this may help you.

Stay well, be safe and hope to see us all thriving on the other side of this crazy ride we're on....

And to all others who clicked on this post, please support our sponsors. They're the life's blood of our fishing community!!

we already lost enough of local shops over the last couple years! It’s a really bad bad timing right now with stripers in the salt and spring trout stocking right around the corner. Just about every shop uses this money this time of year to support em for the rest/most part of the year. These guys need our support more then ever!

For sure Mikey! Everyone is being affected by this but small retail businesses are especially vulnerable. Lets hope we get back to normal soon, whatever the new normal is going to be

I usually do but last week I went to a local hardware store to buy some 5200 caulking. $24 for a 3 ounce tube. Thought it was kind of high. Yesterday check Amazon for the same item $13 dollars. Kind of hard to support a local business with that much of a difference.

Yeah I hear you bigal but 10 bucks is hopefully not going the make or break you or me... These local businesses need any sort of support and encouragement we can muster or they won't be around when we need them...

Greetings.. I would like to share what I have learned from applying for Unemployment and the NJEDA- PUA grant money. After submitting many letters to my District 13 Assemblymen/women and state senators the office of Asm. Gerry Scharfenberger via his Dir. of Constituent Relations, Paula Augostino called me this morning. Unemployment as it is now designed is not available for private business....BUT... NJEDA PUA grant money is/will be available. They are running 3-4 weeks behind. One must first APPLY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT AND BE DENIED to become qualified for the PUA grant money. I have done both at the same time, was denied unemployment but did received a confirmation number from NJEDA for my PUA grant application. Hopefully , this will help my charter buddies out there.
Good Luck
