Sunday Funday on the river. Stayed as far away as I possibly could from all the garbage,”TV, NEWS, CORONA VIRUS, etc. etc.” Ohhhhhh, and other people. Lol! Decided to some Cat fishing today and it was a good choice. Had consistent action all morning on live Shiners doing the bait and wait thing. Built a fire pit out of some river rocks in between chasing run offs. Started a little fire as it was a tad bit nipply this morning. A beautiful day to be out and about regardless. The Channel Cats were fired up for whatever reason. First 2 fish were 30 inch fish 10+ lbs. the others were cookie cutters in the 4-5 lb. range. Landed a total of 5. Really good session out there today. Probably missed 6 others. Spring has sprung!!!:D

Nice catfish eddie, those are the first that i have heard of caught this early and that slime dart also looks like a pike in pickerel skin just like the ones that jd got. you guys are on them that's a fact... well done:cool:

I plucked a dart on the river 3 days ago. Ate a huge swim shad lol. Not the esox I wanted but beggars cant be choosers! Lol. Did u happen to see the white whale cruising around? Massive white carp/koi...

Oh man! I hope I get to see this creature. Maybe I’ll break out my Michigan cricket for the next trip on the Raritan. Someone released there pet I’m guessing. LOL!
