Well, they are here . The Bass have showed up and a couple guys have been doing very well in the back bay. Dave and his friend Bobby , stopped in and picked up some blood worms , of course , they told me that their spot was a secret , ( HA, HA) as everyone knows, they show up in the back bay this time of year. However, they have yet to catch a keeper, but told me plenty of action. I know many people are concerned about the Coronavirus, but that should not stop you from fishing. Everyone should be careful and we will get through this . On a better note, the first keeper Striped Bass brought into Atlantic Bait and Tackle to be weighed , will receive a $ 25.00 Gift card and a Roll of Toilet paper. If this does not get you off the couch , I do not know what will....The coffee is on ....85 and Sunny......Pete

Confirmed! I stopped by a Bayshore park @ 1:30 and saw a couple of short stripers being reeled in and released. One looked like it was just short. I heard that people on the end of the pier had caught a number of short stripers.
Looked like most anglers were bait fishing ( worms.)
Encouraging!

Indeed. Bass were biting yesterday on the outgoing. It was my first trip on my boat out of Keyport. Caught 15 fish to 27 inches. All on shads in less than 10 ft. I tried trolling a little deeper, nada. Keepers should be around soon with all this bait around. Catchem Up!
