Blackfishing every day through January
Sailing from Highlands NJ

Saturday was definitely Blackfish weather. Cold, snowy & windy. We had Rob’s birthday trip with his wife, brother & Salty Dog crew. We started out slow with a couple of shorts on the first piece. Took a ride an the next couple of wrecks had a couple nice keepers on each. Made another move to a wreck that had no life at all. We ended our day on a small rock pile where they wanted to chew at the end of the day. Dan was h/h with 7 keepers up to 10 lbs an a nice cod. Dee nailed a 12 lb tog her cod. The rest of the crew worked hard to put 35 quality tog in the box. Always a great day with these guys.
