Sunday aboard the Down Deep Bull, we ran a 6am Blackfish trip with a big crowd of great returning guys. The morning started real good with many coming over the rails and some nice roasters in the mix. As the day wore in the bite slowed and the guys picked here and there. We are now solely BLACKFISHING EVERYDAY, as weather allows. Thanks everyone for sailing with us and all others who continue to book all their trips going forward at a rapid pace. Awesome day on an awesome boat
First time Tog fishing on this beast of a boat
When I arrived to the boat I was greeted politely and offered a cup of coffee
Been fishing a long time now and been on a lot of boats and I can definitely appreciate the ride and comfort of a Downeaster
The boat sat on anchors like a duck on the water
The captain and mate were very kind and knowledgeable and they work very hard to put you on the fish and tend to your every need.
Captain even gave us some extra time fishing because the bite slowed up late morning.
Down Deep Sportfishing gives you 100% effort
I can honestly say I found my home away from home
Captain Robo and Gene are the BEST fisherman I've encountered in a long time
