Miami Tarpon: Nov 23-24, 2019

Took a quick trip down to Miami with my Dad for some tarpon fishing. Migratory fish had started to show up in the last few weeks, and we found large numbers of fish but they were picky. However, we managed to land a few nice tarpon, as well as jack crevelle, mutton and mangrove snappers.

I was born in Florida and have family in Florida. But I’ve still never made it down for one of these beautiful Tarpon! Awesome catching of some serious beasts!:D

Thanks, Gerry. We weren't sight fishing per se, but you could see them all around the boat swimming and rolling on top.
