Saturday 11/9/19:
Decided to hit a trout spot I hadn't fished since the spring. Flows were pretty good, so I decided to give it a shot. Fishing was good, and I started picking away at average wild browns. All of a sudden, I had a large brown chase my lure up to my feet. There was a dark fish with him, swimming a bit deeper. The brown took a swipe, and got foul hooked in the pec fin. I though he would have spooked, but the hook popped out and it didn't seem to care. On my next cast, the monster brown crushed the lure right at my feet like a musky, with the other dark fish lurking behind. After a tense fight, I slipped the net under a 23" wild brown. After a quick pic, he swam off strong.

My day was already made, but I had no idea what would happen next. I took another cast in the same area and saw the dark fish that was following the brown crush my lure, a little too deep for a good ID. It looked smaller, but peeled drag all over with some vicious headshakes. I finally got it close and slipped it into the net...a monster tiger trout, by far my new PB. The fish taped at 23" as well, and was released to join his brown trout buddy again. This stream has wild brooks, browns, and tigers. It was either a wild fish or long term holdover.

Sunday 11/10/19
Headed out with my good friend for a morning of striper fishing. The bite was red hot, and we caught and released double digit numbers of big bass. All of the stripers were released.
