sporty sunday fishing

I was at a NYC wedding all weekend so i missed the m&g, but made it home sunday with just a few hours to fish... I decided that i would brave the questionable wind forecast if I could find someone else as crazy as me and Nick was in :D

We trolled around a bit, but i didn't like what i was seeing so we tried jigging and the wind just totally let me have it bad haha. I tried a few different techniques but I just couldn't control the boat well enough to catch fish like i wanted to.

We did manage a few though, including Nick's first lake trout and a long perch. A hell of a lot better than not fishing at all, i'll take it.

For a guy who said he wasn't great at multitasking, it was pretty impressive watching you bail, take waves to the stash, and acting as a human spot lock all while hooking more trout than me :D

Nice looking bag all around. Congrats on the 1st laker as well, you definitely rolled with the right person to get that one!! Any measurements on that perch?

The perch measured in at 13", so definitely the biggest one I've caught. Looks like someone has me beat by 1/4" for the skillful angler leader board.
