Seems like winter drama on here set in early:eek: Lets not forget how spoiled we really are with a wealth of waterways / fishing availability from boats, shore etc right here in our backyard.
Agreed the recreational regulations are an ongoing discussion, the conservation aspects of all of fisheries are an ongoing debate but we have a huge resource unlike many other states that meet many anglers dreams.

We also have a forum that Gerry built to discuss the good when we are fishing , the bad when we cant get out and the ugly when no one can get out.
We have at our disposal many TOP of the line sponsor captains, great fishermen that share techniques and a place to spill our passion. I have fished with and become friends with so many anglers and captains on this site including some I didn't know lived only a mile from me.

We are not curing cancer here just fulfilling our desire to FISH the best we can with the best people ( not always LOL) and under the best conservation allowed.

While our resource and fish stocks/ environment will always be a priority for the future and a debate on how best to manage will be ongoing Lets NOT lose sight on who we are and debate cordially.

Its all Good!

Dave as always the voice of reason. Very true and very well stated. It's easy to lose sight sometimes of what we have or take things for granted. From time to time a reality check is exactly what the doctor ordered. Good post!

Thanks Dales a good reminder that we fishermen have a lot more in common then we disagree on. The love of our great sport and all the brotherhood, friendships and quality time that it affords us. We cant let our personal preferences get in the way of that and divide us. If we do the groups that would prefer we not fish at all have won.
