Since you're still working out the details, consider making the tournament catch-measure-release. Big tog are old tog, and they are being overfished in NJ and NY:

Good suggestion for consideration for a new conservation tournament approach. Maybe add in “High Hook” for total number caught. It’s the challenge of the catching that’s the best part. Keep a couple smaller keepers for the table. That’s four nice meals.

A big catch and release tournament has a built in hook, maybe draw guys who otherwise would pass on tournaments.

Oh well, it was worth a try.

You actually believe the ASMFC :confused: Same people that say sea bass stocks are rebuilt 125% and we get further cuts on limits and seasons :rolleyes:
