MISS BELMAR PRINCESS
This morning, we fished north of Shark River Inlet. Once we got to the fishing grounds the ocean was just too nasty. The fish were there and we read them, they just didn’t want to bite. We ended up with a few fish and were back at the dock by 1:00 p.m. Our pool winner was Cory Basinger from Medford, NJ.
DUE TO THE WEATHER, TOMORROW’S TRIP, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, HAS BEEN CANCELLED. WE WILL BE BACK AT IT AGAIN ON FRIDAY MORNING. SEE YOU ALL THEN!
ROYAL MISS BELMAR
This morning, we went out with a charter and got a head start on the fish. We had some good shots at the stripers, and had quite a few albies, before the wind turned up and then the ocean got nasty and they stopped biting. The stripers were anywhere between 25-40 lbs, with most being 30-40 lbs! They were all caught on croc’s and plain 47 diamond jigs. We also ended up losing at least a dozen big fish because of the wind and the deteriorating conditions. Even so, everyone went home happy and we ended up with a nice catch of fish.
The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Royal Miss Belmar has a special whale watching trip every Sunday from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why.
More pictures coming soon.
