Point Pleasant canal 10/11-10/12

There's a good Blackfish bite going on at the last of the incoming alot of shorts but I had some keepers in the mix up to 18 inches and I saw a guy get one that looked to be 5lbs.

Sounds like a great day out! That actually sounds like the best quality bite I've ever heard of in the last 3 years.
I am a bit confused about the canal. Where can one even find parking? It looks to be most private homes and no access.

Plenty of access points by both bridges on both the east and west side of the canal. You can also access the canal at the end of Pine Bluff Ave. Once at the canal edge there is a pathway along the length of the canal, so your can walk in either direction.

theres also a canal access site, if ya go to google maps it can be your best friend just clean up after yourself & if ya see peeps keeping more than 1 drop the dime these fish deserve a chance to grow
