View Full Version : After work, Walleye stress relief! 10/9

Work was just a big annoyance yesterday. I wanted to smash something but went fishing instead of getting myself in trouble. Thankfully there’s always fishing to make all of the work aggravation disappear. Got to the river at dark and cracked 2 nice Walleye, 22.5 and 24 inches. The 22.5 was way fatter and had more shoulders than the 24. Amazingly chubby looking down at its backbone. Missed one other fish that felt a bit different than the Walleye. Back home by 9:10 pm feeling fully relaxed thanks to the river Eyes. TIGHT LINEZ!! :D

Night fishing spooks me out. Especially wading. Always think thats when the carp will go hostile :eek: LOL

Night fishing is SO FUN. I've done it a few times this fall for stripers. Nothing like having the spot to yourself!

Those pics look pretty stress relieving, good choice! Why not catch a nice walleye while trying to cool down right!!

Still seems exotic to see big walleyes in NJ, from shore nonetheless! Great job Eddie!
