Supposed to be pretty decent weather Friday and Saturday.

I don't know where the tournament is but the weather forecast for the Jersey shore isn't looking good as of today . I hope the weather forecast improves and good luck at the tournament. Let us know how you make out.

Be careful out there, conditions might be dangerous if this forecast holds up.

Combine the weather report with opening day sea bass and most people are too depressed to read reports at the moment

but i did catch my first keeper bass on a live mullet this saturday at 7:00 am
back of raritan bay (29")

then sunday morning was dead

Contest was fun.

Didn't catch anything that qualified.
Caught a few small king fish on Saturday and a baby fluke on Sunday.

All were returned to their home in the sea.

Did get some killer pics for Instagram :D

Waves were pretty gnarly!

It was really bad on the coast and you had to cast out a mile in order for the weight / rig to stay in 1 place.

Was still a really good and well attended event and I am already looking forward to next year's tournament.
