Took my son and four year old grandson blowfishing yesterday. Stopped at Creekside Outfitters on advice of my previous post. Really great place friendly good advice and had everything we needed. Launched out of South Harbor Marina and ran out to the Research Buoy. Got four blowfish in about an hour and a half. We also caught a bluefish a porgy and a baby Sea Bass. Thanks again for the tips on where and how to fish for them.

Glad you finally got out. Blowfish can be a tricky fish to catch at first. The bites are so light you will miss most of them. If you can ever hook up with someone who has experience catching them you can learn a lot quickly. The more you fish for them the better you will get.

My buddy was out with his young grandkids yesterday and they caught 52 keepers in 3 hours. The first spot he went to they only caught smalls and he had to move, that was a first.

Thanks for posting.

We went out Sunday, up and down flurries all day but we had a good catch despite having to fight through the millions of small sea bass. Also caught Fluke, Porgies, Cocktail Blues, Northern kingfish (all big ones), Sea Robins and Lizardfish.
