SR Inlet tonight

Heading down after work tonight to test out my new Tsunami Airwave, anyone gonna be down there doing some fishing? Feel free to say hello!

Looks like the tide will be going out but I'm going to give it a shot anyways, too excited about the new rod and haven't had nearly enough salt air in my lungs this year! :D

I did! Started at 7:15 when I got there, fished until 10:15. Caught around 7 snapper blues off the front of the jetty and lost a bunch too, walked and fished the beach and smaller jetties after sunset to see if any rat stripers were hanging around but no hits. Went back to the inlet and fished for awhile longer and was lucky enough to be there for a blitz, tons of fish blowing up on top, caught 8 more snappers. Good way to break the rod in! Crazy how hard some of the small snappers can fight. Only one pic cause everyone knows what snappers look like :D

Snappers that size are GOOD eating!.. i would have taken a couple home and introduced them to a bit of butter and lemon...
