Thinking about heading out to the Sea Gurt Reef this weekend. Was curious how the fluking has been there vs Shrewsbury Rocks. I know people has been getting a lot of sea bass but I plan I doing strictly fluke fishing. Thanks for any advice that may be helpful.

No first hand knowledge here but the Shrewsbury Rocks are on the shallow side and a lot of the keepers seem to be deeper so I think the Girt Reef might be a better bet. Either that or go due east of the rocks and find some deeper water... Lots of nice structure out east of the rocks for you to drift over, use you fish finder, find a few lumps and have at it!!

Good luck.

Nice video. Damm, that sucks about missing that nice fish though. Tough being out there on a solo mission sometimes, trust me I know. If ya ever need a partner let me know. Your boat/my boat whichever. Catch ya later

your also drifting away from fish..so as soon as you get it to side of boat it starts getting further away real quick...
